           1 . ___ Thai Coriander Thai Coriander plant,  Eryngium foetidum , is also known as Perennial Coriander, Mexican Corriander, Ngo Gai and Pak Chee Farang. It is a very popular culinary herb.  It originates from Central America – the Caribbean islands, Puerto Rico and Mexico and is cultivated throughout Southeast Asia and Latin America.  The aromatic leaves used as a spice and flavouring. The root and leaves are used as a Caribbean folk remedy for epilepsy, fevers and high blood pressure. I it prefers well drained soils in a protected, sunny position.  It's smell is very nice and similar to coriander. The leaves of perennial coriander can be used for some cooking unlike regular coriander in stir-fries, soups, salads, curries and salsa.
